CGA Brussels is organizing a Winter Physics Refresher course

We are organizing a Winter Course of physics refresher from Monday  20 February 2012 to Friday 24 February 2012 from 08h30 to 12h30 for 150 €. Limited space. CAE Oxford Aviation Academy to train EIAB and Omni Aviation pilots

CAE Oxford Aviation Academy signs contacts with European Institute of Aviation and Business GmbH (EIAB) of Germany and Omni Aviation Training Center of Portugal to train their ab initio pilot cadets. The EIAB self-sponsored ab initio pilot cadets will do the training as part of their Bachelor of Aviation degree program. The Omni ab initio pilot cadets will train in Visual Flight Rules (VFR). The 30 plus cadets from the two flight training organizations (FTOs) will train annually at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Phoenix in Mesa, Arizona, USA, where they will join hundreds of other students who are training to become airline pilots.

CAE Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) cadets start Advanced training phase of program bring them one step closer to graduation.

The 12 AirAsia cadets in CAE's MPL beta program class have successfully completed the third of four program phases and are on track for a May graduation. All cadets have passed three formal evaluations - an equivalent private pilot check ride, an equivalent instrument check ride, and an equivalent Beechjet type rating. Phase IV - Advanced of the program is being conducted at CAE Training and Services Toronto, Canada. Upon graduation the cadets will join AirAsia's initial operating experience program for Airbus A320 First Officers.

CAE Oxford Aviation Academy, Phoenix welcomes 40 students from Vietnam Airlines

The first group of 40 students from Vietnam Airlines has arrived at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Phoenix to begin their 72-week Airline Transport Pilot-Airplane Integrated Pilot Training course. They join more than 150 students already training at the Academy - adding to the multicultural and diverse student body.

The students have already started their AELT (Aviation English Language training) classes and will begin ground school training by early November.

CAE expands CAE Oxford Aviation Academy with joint venture acquisition of China Southern Airlines pilot training school in Australia

CAE announced today that it has acquired an equity interest in the China Southern West Australian Flying College (CSWAFC) near Perth, Australia and will manage the pilot training school as part of the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy network. Effective immediately, CSWAFC will operate as a joint venture owned 53 per cent by China Southern Airlines and 47 per cent by CAE.

CAE to launch Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) beta program with AirAsia using new performance-based requirements

CAE today announced at the Singapore Airshow 2010 that it has signed a contract with AirAsia to train student cadets for the airline in a beta program designed to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards for the Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL). The CAE program is the first application of an MPL program that will adhere to new performance-based Approved Training Organization (ATO) certification requirements developed by Transport Canada.
